Snowy ledges in a shoe store

A retail space with shelves resembling the snowy ledges of a mountain.

The process began by adding platforms to the space for displaying shoes. These volumes were iteratively manipulated to optimise the display of products.

Cues were taken from the existing context and the linear volumes were angled outwards to layer the volumes. The bases were pushed inwards for foot clearance and to increase the area of horizontal surfaces.
